1. CLIC x FINCA International Climate-Smart Agribusiness
Sector: Climate-Smart Agribusiness | Amount: Technical Assistance + Funding | Deadline: April 10, 2026
The ClimateShot Investor Coalition has partnered with FINCA International to back impact-driven agri-SMEs across sub-Saharan Africa. Consequently, businesses that are ready to scale and actively integrating climate-positive practices into their operations are strongly encouraged to apply. Selected enterprises will additionally be invited to pitch at the Africa Food Systems Forum in Kigali in September 2026.

2. HealthyDiets4Africa Accelerator Cohort III (Kenya)
Sector: Food Systems Innovation | Amount: Up to USD 5,000 + Business Support | Deadline: March 22, 2026
This accelerator specifically supports youth (18–35) and women-led (35–45) agribusiness innovations that are already operating in Kenya with at least a prototype. Furthermore, selected participants gain mentorship, investor linkages, and market exposure through trade fairs and exhibitions. Priority is given to applicants from Nairobi, Makueni, Kitui, Machakos, Kiambu, Kajiado, and Murang’a Counties.

3. GEC+ Africa Pitch Competition -GEN Uganda
Sector: Startups & MSMEs | Amount: Pitch Bootcamp + Africa-Stage Representation | Deadline: Check portal
GEN Uganda is therefore inviting pre-seed and seed-stage startups with an MVP, as well as post-revenue MSMEs, to step forward and compete on a national stage. Selected entrepreneurs will go through a dedicated pitch bootcamp before representing Uganda at the broader GEC+ Africa platform. The IERCE Project is consequently a strong match for agri-SMEs working in precision agriculture, land monitoring, or climate data analytics using satellite or remote sensing tools. 5. Horizon Europe Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA)

This call supports innovation in greenhouses, vertical farming, and hydroponics through AI and smart farming tools, with projects required to reach Technology Readiness Level 6 to 7. Sector: Climate-Resilient Food Systems | Amount: $100,000 – $500,000 | Deadline: Rolling
MetaMeta has opened this substantial agriculture funding opportunity for innovative projects strengthening climate-resilient food systems in Sudan, with a specific focus on smallholder farmers, women, and youth. Eligible areas include rainfed agriculture, agro-processing, livestock, fisheries, and value chain development. Because the deadline is rolling, applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis however, early submission is always advisable.
