What is ANN all about?

Africa Agricultural Network is an online content house specializing in creating African agricultural content with the purpose of educating, showcasing success stories & building a community of passionate farmers on the continent.

Agriculture in Sub–Saharan Africa employs more than half of the total population with 10-25% of urban livelihoods depending on a primary source of income. Progress has majorly been hindered by rudimentary agricultural practices. The sector performance has been exacerbated further by lack communication channels to disseminate proper Agricultural practices as farmers still use rudimentary techniques such as poor post-harvest handling practices, storage in inappropriate materials etc.

Our Vision

To bridge the digital information gap across the African Agricultural ecosystem & value chain by making agricultural content easily accessible & understandable to every African farmer.

Our Mission

To empower more than 1 million African farmers annually through educational content, community discussions and trainings.
